Big Heaven started as a duo with Mandy Hand and Jesse Gage in late 2017.  The tunes stayed "aggressively catchy" (Fort Worth Weekly) in spite of many instantiations, which finally landed with  Kevin Wellendorf on guitar, Stephanie Benjamin on vocals and keys, Mandy on vocals and bass, and Sam Dobbin on drums.

Big Heaven's final show was September 13, 2024. Their music can still be streamed on all major platforms.
